Principle:

To document in 3D, simply point the hand-operated scanner Freestyle3D to objects and surroundings from different angles. The Freestyle3D is used in combination with a Tablet PC allowing benefiting from a maximum flexibility during the 3D scanning process. During scanning, the captured area is visualized on the Tablet PC in real time. Thus, you can check the completeness of your data even when scanning hard to reach areas. The scan data is saved on a SD card and can easily be transferred to a computer for further processing. You can also combine point clouds created with FARO Freestyle3D with point clouds of a FARO Focus3D laser scanner.
