Originating from Paris CRYO SKIN  3.0 is the first of it’s kind in the UK.  The treatment naturally **destroys fat cells, removes cellulite and will slow down the ageing process.  It can perform two types of treatments one being slimming and the other lifting.

The treatment works by triggering the phenomenon of apoptosis of the fat cells.  This is achieved without risk to the other tissues (in particular muscular tissues) by the fact that intracellular electrolytes of the fat cell are the first to crystallise in the cold before all the others.  The crystallization causes the cell to self destruct through the body’s lymphatic system.

Can I workout before/after a treatment?

Please refrain from working out after a Cryoslimming session.

What do I need to bring?

Nothing.  Please wear comfortable clothing (if having a body treatment).  Just stick to the best possible diet and lifestyle to accompany the treatments (drink plenty of water in particular).

How often can I have a treatment?

The usual frequency is one treatment every 15 days (for slimming treatments).  There is physiological reason for this; when apoptosis (the death of cells) occurs and some of the fat cells die; waste is formed.

This will be eliminated by natural routes (blood, lymphatic system, and then urine).    The metabolism needs sufficient time to evacuate this waste without overloading the circuits.

Toning treatments can be performed once every week.

Is the treatment safe?

Yes it is very safe.  In terms of programming and electronics, it is managed by a computerized windows system.  The cooling system is controlled by an electronic temperature sensor located in the processing head of the device and the temperature is controlled in real time by a curve and the figures are displayed in real time on the screen.  In the event of malfunction, the device alerts the operator by displaying an error message.

How is this treatment different from other Cryotherapy treatments?

Tests and experience have shown that no other machine is currently capable of an interia as strong as the CRYO SKIN 3.0.

This interia is due to the fact that the device does not only produce cold.  It works by heat exchange with the body and the ability to descend very strongly and quickly the temperature of the tissues by absorption of calories, accumulation of calories and evacuation by a system equipped with a ventilated hydraulic radiator.

Slimming Treatments

This is a 28 minute treatment that applies both heat and cold.  We will focus on one area of the body, let’s say the stomach for now.  We will apply 2 minutes of heat at 40℃ and then 12 minutes of cold at -8℃, then repeat this on the other side of the stomach area.  This thermal therapy will cause fat cells to drop between 17℃ – 12℃ causing them to naturally destruct and pass through the lymphatic system.

The treatment can only be performed every 2 weeks to give the body enough time to let the destroyed fat cells naturally pass through your body’s systems.

Lifting Treatments

This treatment is 20 minutes in length, using cold therapy only.  We focus on one area at a time.  The device will drop to -2℃ which causes local metabolism and microcirculation to improve in the area we are focusing on.  This will boost your body’s production of collagen, eliminating cellulite, toning the area and reducing the signs of ageing.

We recommend 5 treatments and if you maintain a healthy lifestyle with a nutritious diet and regular exercise the results will last.  You may need a treatment once every 6 months to maintain this.

What are the side effects?

There are few – Sometimes localised redness will appear but this disappears after a few hours.  Also internal tightness can sometimes be felt after treatments.

Occasionally some local pain this rarely exceeds 2 to 3 hours.  There may also be some itching due to reactions to certain cosmetic products.  That being said it is advised that you do not use lotions or other cosmetic products before coming in for a treatment.
